Are you a writer, a poet or a person wanting to try something new?

In honour of Shakespeare Week 2022, Cambridge Central Library are holding a Sonnet Workshop on Saturday 26th March!

Book your place now!

This half-day creative writing workshop, facilitated by Jess Clark, takes inspiration from the sonnet form in diverse incarnations, travelling through themes of love, nature and the world we inhabit.

Whether you are a confident poet, curious about trying something new, or anywhere in between, feel welcome to create, share and experiment in a nurturing environment fuelled by passion for words.

Jess is a London-based writer, poet and educator currently working as a youth mentor and studying a PGCert in Teaching Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge. Her work explores various ideas, under-pinned by the drive to embrace and spread light within climates of darkness.

There are two available sessions on Saturday 26th March; our first starts at 10:30, and our second starts at 14:00. Both sessions last for 2 hours, and there will be an opportunity to share your creations and inspirations with others at 16:30 after the second session closes.

Places are free, but they are limited, so book now to ensure a space! The workshops will be held in our Conference Room on the Third Floor of Cambridge Central Library.
