Keeping the kids busy this Christmas

Whether you’ve got your hands full with a baby, or your little ones aren’t so little anymore – check out what the Central Library has on offer each week to keep the kids happy this festive season.

Rhyme-time!

Rhyme time is a 30 minute session of rhyme and song for children from newborn to 18 months. Entertain the youngest members of the family and get to make new friends at the same time.

Sessions run all the way up to Christmas. Book now to avoid disappointment! (Either online or at your library front desk).

Every adult and child that attends the event needs a ticket. If there are no adult tickets left then the event is fully booked.

Story-time

Story time is a 30 minute session of fun and stories for children aged from 18 months to five years old. Kick-start a passion for stories and reading. Plus meet other young people from the local area.

Free sessions are run up until Christmas. Book now to avoid disappointment!

Every adult and child that attends a session needs a ticket – if there are no adult tickets left, the event is fully booked.

Code Club: Scratch

Code Club is an introduction to coding for 9-12 year-olds. Jump into coding and learn how to program, make computer games, create animation and more! You don’t need any experience to get involved.

Free Saturday morning sessions are running until Christmas. Book now to avoid disappointment (either online or at your library front desk).
